The Yew and Box hedge follows the curves of this Piers Gough building. It also responds to the City Hall in the landscape beyond, while providing a backdrop to the circular water feature. The sandstone floor is suspended prooviding a flat surface, while the lighting, irrigation and water feature are operated via a remote control. Click image for water / enlarge for detail.
